Our Trainer and Dogs

Madison Wood

I have always loved animals, especially dogs and horses, but my love expanded into a passion when I was lucky enough to be apart of a Veterinary Assisting course in high school. Through that course I was able to learn not only about the veterinary field but also about the tons of different careers that revolve around animals. Due to that course I was able to get a job at a local daycare/boarding facility. During my time working there and helping with rescues I had the opportunity to work with and foster numerous dogs with a wide range of behavioral problems which led to my passion for behavior. I have spent the last few years helping any dog/owner that I could to give them the best lives that they can have.

My goal is to provide a better life for all dogs and their owners through training, education, and proper management. I enjoy spreading knowledge and awareness of all things canine related but am especially passionate about strong relationships, behavior, and communication.

In Memory of Tazlina

June 2011-January 2021

Tazlina was a 9 year old Great Pyrenees that started as a family dog and turned into Madison’s first personal dog. Madison's family got her from Texas as a puppy and flew her back to their home state of Alaska. Tazlina grew up there going on all of the adventures that you could imagine. From camping on a boat in the ocean to driving from Alaska to Oregon she went on almost every adventure you could think! Tazlina was truly loved by everyone who met her and was the gentlest giant around from puppyhood to her last days.
